Terms of service for Marvox.
These launch terms cover account use, user rights and responsibilities, AI-generated narration, your audiobook, the per-book Production Pass, suspension, and liability boundaries.
Policy Notice
This page summarizes the current launch policy posture for Marvox. It is provided for product clarity and should be reviewed with counsel for account-specific legal needs.
Eligibility and Accounts
You may use Marvox only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for the activity on your account, for protecting account credentials, and for ensuring any information you provide is accurate and current.
Uploads, Rights, and User Responsibility
You retain ownership of content you own and upload to Marvox. You grant Marvox the limited rights needed to host, process, transform, and deliver the service to you. You must have the rights, permissions, and consents required for every manuscript, prompt, file, recording, and export you submit.
- Do not upload content you do not own or control.
- Do not submit another person’s voice or likeness without authorization.
AI Outputs and Narration
Marvox provides AI-assisted analysis, generation, and narration tools. Marvox narration is AI-generated: it is read by digital voices from Marvox's voice provider, not recorded by a person. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for publication without human review. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or distributing them.
Your Audiobook
The audio Marvox produces from your manuscript is yours to use. You may keep, share, distribute, and sell the audiobook of your title, provided you hold the audio rights to its text and say that it is AI-narrated wherever you publish it. Marvox's exports carry that disclosure in their metadata; do not remove it.
- Some stores do not accept AI narration. The publishing checklist in your package lists where you can publish and where you cannot.
Production Pass and Billing
Marvox sells a Production Pass for one book: a one-time payment through Stripe, not a subscription. A pass covers that book's production: up to 12 finished hours, a quarter more for re-records, and free re-direction of lines. Minutes beyond it use Marvox Credits, which you buy only if you need them. The price and any taxes are shown at checkout. Accounts that subscribed earlier keep their subscription until they cancel it in the billing portal.
Acceptable Use and Suspension
You may not use Marvox to violate law, infringe rights, generate deceptive or abusive media, bypass plan limits, interfere with the service, or violate provider rules. Marvox may suspend or terminate accounts that create security, trust, legal, or operational risk.
Copyright Complaints
Marvox expects rights-respecting use of hosted content. Copyright complaints should be submitted through the DMCA process described on the DMCA page. Marvox may remove or disable access to reported content while evaluating a complaint.
Disclaimers and Liability Limits
Marvox is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marvox disclaims implied warranties and limits liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, and loss-of-data damages.
Contact and Changes
Questions about these terms should be directed to support@marvox.app. Marvox may revise these terms as the product, launch footprint, and legal requirements evolve. Material changes should be surfaced through the website or user account flows.
