Refunds for passes and credits.
This policy explains how Marvox handles a Production Pass, credit packs, earlier subscriptions, refund review, and chargeback-related account actions.
Policy Notice
This page summarizes the current launch policy posture for Marvox. It is provided for product clarity and should be reviewed with counsel for account-specific legal needs.
Production Pass
A Production Pass is a one-time payment for one book, through Stripe. It does not renew. Production capacity is reserved for the book as soon as the pass is bought, so a pass is generally not refundable once purchased, except where the law requires a refund or checkout promised one.
- Paid twice for the same book (two tabs, or a second checkout): the second payment is refunded in full automatically. One book needs only one pass.
- Duplicate charges and technical billing errors are reviewed for a refund or credit.
Marvox Credits
Credit packs pay for production minutes beyond what a book's pass includes. Credit purchases follow the same baseline: they are reviewed for a refund in cases of billing error or where the law requires it.
Earlier subscriptions
Accounts that subscribed before the Production Pass keep their subscription until they cancel it in the billing portal. Canceling stops renewal at the end of the current billing period, unless local law requires otherwise, and access stays until then.
- Canceling does not by itself create a refund for the period already begun.
How to Request Review
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact support promptly with the account email, the date of the charge, the book it was for, and a short explanation. Marvox may ask for more detail before issuing any refund, credit, or denial.
Chargebacks and Abuse
If a user files a chargeback, Marvox may pause access while investigating. Repeated abusive refund requests, friendly fraud, or payment misuse may lead to account suspension.
