AI Voice Policy

AI narration and voice-use policy.

This policy explains Marvox's launch posture: generator-focused audio workflows, no third-party cloning, and any personal recording workflow limited to self-owned or expressly authorized recordings.

Generator-First Voice Policy

Marvox currently focuses on AI narration and audio generation using approved provider voices and project-level voice settings. Voice customization features should be treated as limited and subject to product readiness.

No Third-Party Voice Cloning

Marvox must not be used to clone, imitate, or simulate a third party, including celebrities, performers, coworkers, private individuals, or deceased persons, unless Marvox later introduces a separately reviewed feature with verified rights and explicit written authorization.

Own Recording Only

If Marvox enables personal voice recording workflows, those workflows are limited to the user’s own voice or a recording the user is expressly authorized to provide. Uploading another person’s recording without authorization is prohibited.

  • Users remain responsible for obtaining any required consent before upload.
  • Marvox may pause or remove voice-related assets while reviewing a complaint or abuse report.

Narration Outputs and Disclosure

Users should not present Marvox narration as a real human endorsement, testimonial, or live performance. When context makes it important, users should disclose that narration was generated or assisted by AI tools.

Required Attestations Before Voice Cloning

When voice cloning is enabled for a project, the user must complete two written attestations before any audio is uploaded:

  • I own this voice or have explicit written permission from the speaker to clone it for use in this project.
  • I have read this AI Voice Policy and accept the restrictions on third-party voice cloning, including the requirement to obtain consent before upload.

Data Retention and Deletion for Voice Assets

Voice DNA, cloned voice profiles, and the associated consent recording are stored for the lifetime of the project that created them. Marvox retains versioned snapshots of voice profiles so prior versions can be restored. Users may delete any prior version at any time from the Voice DNA Versions page; deleting the project removes the active voice profile and its consent recording, subject to legal retention obligations and pending audit holds.

Retention, Deletion, and Review

Voice assets, generated audio, and related settings may be retained for service delivery, account support, security review, and legal compliance. Users may request deletion or export subject to account, billing, and legal constraints.
