DMCA and copyright complaint process.
This policy outlines how Marvox receives copyright notices, handles counter notices, and enforces repeat-infringer standards for hosted user content.
Policy Notice
This page summarizes the current launch policy posture for Marvox. It is provided for product clarity and should be reviewed with counsel for account-specific legal needs.
Notice and Takedown
If a rights holder believes user content hosted through Marvox infringes copyright, they may send a DMCA notice identifying the work, the allegedly infringing material, and the required contact statements under 17 U.S.C. 512.
- Notices should identify the specific account, project, or URL where possible.
- Incomplete notices may be rejected or returned for clarification.
Counter Notices
Users who believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification may submit a counter notice containing the statements required by law. Marvox may restore material if the claimant does not file suit within the statutory period.
Repeat Infringers
Marvox may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly upload or generate infringing material, especially after prior warnings or takedowns.
Where to Send Notices
Until a dedicated intake address and designated agent filing are finalized, DMCA notices should be sent to support@marvox.app with the subject line DMCA Notice. This page should be updated with the official designated-agent details once filed.
